Nikita Dmitrievsky is a stage director, choreographer and visual artist creating theatrical works in which movement, music, light, space and image become one artistic language.
His work spans ballet, opera, drama, physical theatre and multimedia performance — from intimate chamber works to large-scale productions involving major casts and complex visual technologies.
He has collaborated with major opera and ballet institutions including the Bolshoi Theatre, Mariinsky Theatre, Mikhailovsky Theatre, Boris Eifman Ballet, Ballet Moscow, Krasnoyarsk and Rostov Opera and Ballet Theatres, Novaya Opera, Astana Ballet, Teatro di San Carlo, Teatro Verdi and San Francisco Opera, among others.
One of the first Russian dancers to be invited to work and study with Jiří Kylián's Nederlands Dans Theater. This experience became an important foundation of his artistic language, combining physicality, dramatic imagery, spatial composition, light and moving image.
As a producer and artistic director, he has developed international projects in Russia, the Netherlands, Israel, Finland, Bulgaria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, the UAE and other countries.
His distinctive approach lies in bringing several creative disciplines into a single vision — from the first artistic concept through choreography, lighting, costume and visual realization.
